Goals of the meeting

The conference aims at bringing together researchers working in the numerous fields involving Higgs bundles and giving account on recent progress made in topics like the geometry and topology of their moduli spaces, Teichmüller theory, surface group representations and non-abelian Hodge theory.

Practical information

There is no conference fee. 

The meeting will take place in the Laboratoire J.A. Dieudonné in Nice, France. The LJAD is situated on the campus of Valrose in the center of Nice. You can find some detailed acces information here.

How to find your hotel: the hotels closest to the Campus are

How to get to the city centre when arriving at the airport:

- There is an express line from the airport to the train station which is very much in the centre of the town. The schedule can be found here. The price of the ticket is 6 Euros.

- If you are slightly more adventurous, you can take the regular line 23. It stops more often, the stop Vallot is very close to the University Campus. Here is the link for more detailed information. 

How to get to the lab: take the tram in the direction Henri Sappia and get off at "Valrose Universités". From there just follow the crowd of students to the university campus. Your id will be checked at the entrance of the campus, the security will have a list of all the registered participants. Once you are on the campus the LJAD is the building W on this map
